Nature is amazingly beautiful and spectacular. The blue sky, lush green trees and clean clear water is what we all wish to see around us.

But, unfortunately this precious treasure is under a tremendous threat!

Threat from pollution, pressures of urbanization, poaching, illegal trade, superstitions, hunting for fun, destruction of habitat, unethical practices, population problems, political conflicts, crowding concrete jungles, and so on…

The flora and fauna of India is now demanding all the attention, concern and conscience of every individual to contribute directly and indirectly towards the conservation of this precious treasure. Quite disappointingly, there are still a majority of people who think that conservation is a “duty” of few team members who are attached to ecological organizations, nature clubs and institutions.

The most common acquaintance of “nature” is only as a place for a day’s outing. Why is that there are more of picnickers and less of nature lovers seen in various wildlife sanctuaries of India ? The need is to cultivate a feeling of ownership to preserve the nature from various threats. The urge is to communicate more, spread the conservation message, work collectively and try the best to make it a “survival for all ” kind of world.
